E2V
TheAlloy team designed the original Argus camera in 1995 which remained in service for over 10 years and won a Queen's award for export. Since then, radical changes in technology and markets created the opportunity to create a revolutionary new design.
Argus®3 thermal imaging camera
The design of the Argus®3 thermal imaging camera is a radical rethink of a lifesaving tool, allowing fire-fighters to see through thick smoke or in complete darkness. Users the world over have been quick to recognise the advantages of the design. In addition to being the UK Home Office camera of choice, the product has also won several major design awards and is part of the MOMA permanent collection.
