TheAlloy worked closely with graphics consultancy The Chase on part of a campaign to completely change the perception of drinking water from the ultimate commodity to a consumer product; and in the process revive the declining reputation of one of the UK’s largest utilities companies. Part of this was the ‘Cool Schools’ campaign, a project to encourage children to drink more water.
'Cool Fuel' water bottle
Designed for Yorkshire Water's 'Cool Schools' campaign, the 'Cool Fuel' bottle encourages kids to drink more water, improving health and concentration. Pupils and parents of a Bradford school were consulted to establish the brief and involved throughout the design process. To encourage the kids to drink more the water bottle had to be funky, fun and easy to use by kids of all ages. For teachers it had to be stable, leak proof and easy to clean.
